Kareena Kapoor’s Excitement On Peak For ‘The Buckingham Murders’

Kareena Kapoor Khan is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film The Buckingham Murders, where she will be seen in a de-glam avatar.

She recently took to Instagram to share a new character poster from the film, showcasing her intense look, seemingly eyeing someone suspiciously. The film’s trailer is set to release soon, with the movie hitting theaters on September 13, 2024.

In addition to the poster, the makers have also released the first track from the film, titled “Sada Pyaar Tut Gaya.” The song, sung by Vicky Marley and composed by Bally Sagoo, highlights the emotional depth of Kareena’s character, who is a detective dealing with personal loss while investigating a child’s murder in Buckinghamshire. The film is written by Aseem Arrora, Kashyap Kapoor, and Raghav Raj Kakker, and is produced by Balaji Telefilms, TBM Films, Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Kareena has revealed that her character, Jasmeet Bhamra, was inspired by Kate Winslet’s role in Mare of Easttown. Directed by Hansal Mehta, The Buckingham Murders marks Kareena’s debut as a producer. The film’s cast includes Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen.

Beyond this film, Kareena will also be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s Daayra and Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, alongside an ensemble cast that includes Ajay Devgn, Arjun Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, and others.
