December 26, 2024: A terrifying video captured by a passenger inside the cabin of an Azerbaijan Airlines plane moments before its crash in Kazakhstan has gone viral on social media. The aircraft, flying from Baku, Azerbaijan, to Grozny, Chechnya, tragically crashed near Aktau, claiming 38 lives while 32 passengers survived.
In the shocking footage, a passenger can be heard chanting “Allahu Akbar” (God is great) as the plane went into a steep descent. Yellow oxygen masks dangled from the ceiling, passengers screamed in panic, and the soft chime of the ‘fasten seatbelt’ light echoed throughout the cabin.
Another video taken post-crash shows an upside-down ceiling panel, passengers calling for help, and blood stains on armrests—a haunting reminder of the chaos that ensued.

While 32 passengers survived, many remain in critical condition. The health ministry of Kazakhstan confirmed ongoing medical support for the injured.
