The Embraer 190 aircraft, operated by Azerbaijan Airlines, attempted an emergency landing approximately 3 km from Aktau city.
The flight’s trajectory on FlightRadar revealed an unusual pattern, with the aircraft deviating from its normal route and circling over the crash site.
The Kazakh Ministry of Emergency Situations reported extinguishing a fire post-crash, while specialist doctors were dispatched from Astana to treat survivors.
