Kiara Advani Prepares for Never-Seen-Before Acrobatic Act in Yash’s Toxic
Kiara Advani is gearing up for her return to the big screen with director Geetu Mohandas’ ambitious film Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-ups, starring Yash in the lead role. The film’s teaser, revealing Yash’s striking new look, was unveiled on Thursday to mark his birthday. In the weeks leading up to it, the makers had also released the first looks of the film’s five female leads, including Kiara.
Now, new details have emerged about Kiara’s character and the reason behind her circus-themed introduction. According to sources, Kiara plays an acrobat named Nadia, a role that required her to undergo extensive training with international performers.
For Toxic, Kiara has reportedly collaborated with a team of global artists to perform a daring acrobatic sequence inspired by Cirque du Soleil. International performers were flown in to train her, as well as to conceptualise, design, and rehearse the act. The sequence is being described as a visually spectacular set piece that aims to deliver a global-scale cinematic experience rarely seen in Indian films.
Shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, Toxic features an ensemble cast that includes Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth, and Kiara Advani. The film is positioned as one of the most ambitious projects of Yash’s career and marks Kiara’s first major release since becoming a new mother.
