New York [US], May 6: Fashion icon and SKIMS founder Kim Kardashian once again stole the spotlight at the Met Gala 2025, turning heads in a dramatic off-the-shoulder crocodile leather ensemble by Chrome Hearts. The two-piece set featured an open back, a sweeping train, and edgy accessories including cascading pearl strands, a multi-layered diamond necklace, and a commanding oversized leather hat—all perfectly in sync with this year’s theme: “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”

Kardashian’s look was yet another high-fashion statement in her Met Gala history, which includes some of the event’s most iconic and debated fashion moments—from her 2022 Marilyn Monroe dress to the black face-covered Balenciaga look in 2021.

The 2025 Met Gala, held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, brought together global stars under the theme curated by Andrew Bolton and inspired by Monica L. Miller’s book Slaves to Fashion.
