Kim Kardashian Robbery to Be Explored in Revealing BBC Three Documentary

BBC doc delves into Paris heist that shook the world of celebrity, unveils court trial details and revisits the price of fame

London, June 6, 2025 – Nearly a decade after one of the most shocking celebrity crimes in recent history, BBC Three is set to unveil The Kim Kardashian Diamond Heist, a gripping new documentary offering fresh insight into the night Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris.

Produced by Firecracker Films, the documentary will premiere later this month and promises exclusive interviews with family friends, law enforcement officials, and journalists who have closely tracked the case. It revisits the infamous October 2016 night when Kardashian was held at gunpoint and robbed of millions of dollars’ worth of jewellery in a Paris hotel room.

The program will also cover recent developments from just last month, when Kardashian faced her assailants in court—leading to the conviction of eight individuals. It is expected to shine a light on the psychological and personal impact the incident had on the reality star, while examining broader themes of fame, digital visibility, and personal security in the social media age.

Nasfim Haque, Head of Content at BBC Three, described the documentary as “an insight into one of the most publicised celebrity crimes of our time committed on one of the most famous women on the planet,” adding that it will “delve into the facts behind the gossip and explore the price of fame in the digital age.”
