Kolkata, March 20, 2025 – Kolkata Knight Riders’ home match against Lucknow Super Giants on April 6, 2025, has been relocated to Guwahati after Kolkata Police expressed its inability to provide security due to Ram Navami celebrations.

Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) President Snehasish Ganguly confirmed the development, stating that there was no possibility of rescheduling the game within Kolkata.
