After a significant hiatus, actor Lisa Ray graced the runway once again, this time for renowned designer Rahul Mishra at India Couture Week 2024.

Ray’s return was nothing short of spectacular as she evoked nostalgia among the audience by walking to the live rendition of her iconic song ‘Afreen Afreen’.

Dressed in an exquisite saree-gown designed by Mishra, Ray captivated the crowd with her elegance. The gown featured a striking peacock-themed train that added to its allure. Lisa represented Mishra’s ‘Nargis’ collection, which celebrates the designer’s deep connection with nature. The collection draws inspiration from various natural elements, including the beauty of flowers, fruits, and the soothing sounds of birds.

Mishra’s latest collection showcased his affection for flora and fauna through a diverse range of ensembles, from sarees and lehengas to pant suits, each piece reflecting the enchanting beauty of nature through intricate craftsmanship.

The event saw attendance from several notable personalities, including legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter Sara and actor Roshni Chopra, who were present to witness the mesmerizing display of fashion.

India Couture Week, which commenced on July 24, will run until July 31, culminating with a presentation by designers Falguni Shane Peacock on the final day.
