LIVE: Israel Strikes Gaza, Yemen As Houthis Launch Fresh Missiles

July 07, 2025: Israeli forces have intensified their bombardment of Gaza and Yemen, with fresh airstrikes causing widespread devastation. A recent Israeli attack destroyed a UN-run school sheltering displaced families in Gaza City, killing six people, including children. Images from the scene show young men carrying a victim’s body on their shoulders, their faces etched with anger and shock.

The latest escalation comes after Israeli strikes killed at least 82 Palestinians on Sunday alone, among them 10 people who were waiting in line for food aid.

According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, Israel’s war on Gaza has now killed at least 57,418 people and wounded 136,261 others. In Israel, 1,139 people were killed during the Hamas-led attacks on October 7, 2023, and more than 200 individuals were taken hostage.

Meanwhile, hopes for a ceasefire remain uncertain. US President Donald Trump stated there is a “good chance” of reaching an agreement between Israel and Hamas this week. His remarks follow plans for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to visit Washington, DC, and renewed ceasefire negotiations underway in Doha, Qatar.
