"Look Who's Behind Him": India Shows Photo Evidence Of Pakistan's State-Sponsored Terror
New Delhi | May 9, 2025 — 09:58 AM IST
India has released what it calls “indisputable visual proof” of Pakistan’s continued support for terrorism, with High Commissioner to the UK Vikram Doraiswami unveiling a photograph showing Pakistani military officers attending the funeral of slain terrorists alongside US-sanctioned Hafiz Abdur Rauf — the brother of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) chief Masood Azhar.

Speaking to Sky News, Doraiswami said,
“If you’re giving terrorists state funerals, what does that say about your system?”
The image shows Rauf in the foreground, flanked by uniformed Pakistani military personnel, with coffins draped in Pakistani flags behind them — a scene the Indian envoy described as “state-sanctioned martyrdom for terrorists.”
The photograph was taken following India’s coordinated airstrikes under Operation Sindoor, which targeted nine terror hubs in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir in retaliation for the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians.
Among the targets was Jaish’s Bahawalpur headquarters, long identified by Indian intelligence as a terror command center.
India also confirmed the killing of Abdul Rauf Azhar, Masood Azhar’s brother and mastermind of the IC-814 hijacking, the 2001 Parliament attack, and the Pathankot airbase assault.
A BJP post showed his image marked with the word “Eliminated.”
Doraiswami also pointed to India’s past cooperation, such as granting Pakistani investigators access to the Pathankot airbase in 2016 and sharing dossiers post-26/11 Mumbai attacks, which he said were ignored or distorted by Islamabad to cover up the Pakistani state’s role in terrorism.
