
Mass Shooting Outside New York Nightclub Leaves 10 Injured: Police Investigating Motive
January 2, 2025: At least 10 people were injured in a mass shooting outside the Amazura nightclub in Queens, New York, late Wednesday night. The incident occurred around 11:20 PM in the Jamaica neighbourhood, according to reports from the New York Police Department (NYPD).
Authorities confirmed that none of the victims are in critical condition, and all are expected to survive. The injured individuals were rushed to Long Island Jewish Hospital and Cohen’s Children Medical Center for treatment.

The nightclub, known for hosting DJ events and live performances, was reportedly holding a private party in memory of a deceased gang member. Around 80 people were waiting in line outside the venue when gunfire erupted, creating chaos and panic among the crowd.

While official details from NYPD remain limited, social media footage shows a large police presence and multiple ambulances responding to the scene. Authorities are currently investigating the motive behind the shooting and whether it was a targeted attack or random violence.
