Meghan Markle Shares a Playful Deleted Scene from “With Love, Meghan” Ahead of Season 2

The Duchess of Sussex delights fans with a charming pineapple-cutting trick and behind-the-scenes video as excitement builds for the upcoming season of her Netflix series.

Meghan Markle is giving fans an extra taste of her Netflix series With Love, Meghan by sharing a fun deleted scene on Instagram! On Friday, May 30, the Duchess of Sussex posted a charming video where she demonstrates a handy kitchen hack she picked up and was eager to share with her audience.

“You know a trick a lot of people do with pineapple, instead of just cutting it?,” Meghan asks in the clip, before expertly cutting along the diagonal lines of the fruit to reveal perfectly sized wedges. “To make the perfect little bite, you follow the wedge,” she adds, demonstrating how to create easy-to-eat pieces.

As she savors a freshly cut pineapple bite, Meghan marvels at the simplicity of nature’s design: “When nature has given you all the cues on how to have a perfect taste of something,” she says with a smile.

Randi Karin, a guest and wellness therapist featured in the scene, was clearly delighted by the tip. “How fun is that. I love it,” she exclaims. Curious to try it out, Karin follows Meghan’s demonstration and successfully pops out a pineapple piece herself, sharing a moment of joy with the Duchess.

Meghan captioned the video by noting that the clip was originally from a deleted scene. “There was so much goodness on Season 1 of With Love, Meghan on @netflix that didn’t make it in, there just wasn’t enough time!,” she wrote. “This scene with sweet Randi Karin (@soulrefugespa) is especially fun as you think about summer entertaining tips and tricks.”

She also encouraged fans to catch up on the first season as the show gears up for its return. “Great weekend to rewatch or catch up on the show as we gear up for Season 2 this summer and all the fun to come with @aseverofficial,” Meghan continued.

With Love, Meghan marked the Duchess’s first solo hosting project on Netflix and quickly became a hit after its March 4 premiere, topping the streamer’s viewership charts. Just days after its debut, PEOPLE exclusively revealed that the series will return for a second season this fall. Filming for the new season has already wrapped, with Michael Steed returning as director for what Meghan has described as a “love letter” to her favorite things.

“The series is about doing what you can do,” Meghan told PEOPLE, “and doing it with love.” She also revealed that chef José Andrés will make a guest appearance on Season 2, sharing the news at the TIME100 Summit in New York City on April 23. Additionally, PEOPLE confirmed that Chrissy Teigen will join Meghan in a future episode, adding to the excitement surrounding the new season.

As Meghan and her team get ready to roll out more entertaining and heartfelt episodes, this playful kitchen hack clip is a delightful appetizer for fans eager to see what’s next.
