The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle teases possible expansion into fashion after her lifestyle brand’s first product launch sells out.
Will Meghan Markle soon add fashion designer to her extensive résumé?
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, recently shared her thoughts on the future of her lifestyle brand, As ever, in a new interview with Fast Company published on May 27. Following the sell-out success of the brand’s first product launch — which included edible items like honey, fruit preserves, and floral sprinkles — Meghan hinted at broader plans for the future, including the world of fashion.
“My heart is very deeply in my home,” Meghan told the outlet. “Everything comes from being rooted in the love story of your home and garden, and then you can imagine different verticals coming out of that.”
When asked if fashion might be one of those new verticals, the Duchess didn’t dismiss the possibility. “The category of fashion is something I will explore at a later date, because I do think that’s an interesting space for me,” she said.
Earlier this year, Meghan launched a ShopMy page, where she curated a selection of her favorite clothing pieces and accessories, describing it as “a handpicked and curated collection of the things I love.” She added, “Please note, some products may contain commissionable links.”
Meghan has previously dabbled in fashion, including launching a capsule collection of women’s workwear in 2019 to benefit Smart Works, a UK-based charity that helps women secure employment.
As for what’s next, Meghan told Fast Company that she plans to take a thoughtful approach. “I want to really focus on the hospitality angle of As ever, but as we take the learnings, we can understand what the customer’s needs are seasonally,” she shared, adding that new products are expected to be announced in early 2026, with restocks of current products coming soon.
In addition to being a mom and a podcast host, Meghan is also the star of Netflix’s With Love, Meghan and a business creator — and she has no plans to stop there.
“If I had to write a résumé, I don’t know what I would call myself,” she said. “I think it speaks to this chapter many of us find ourselves in, where none of us are one note. But I believe all the notes I am playing are part of the same song.”
