Meryl Streep shines at Cannes 2024 in Indian designer’s jewellery

The 77th Cannes Film Festival commenced on Tuesday night with a spectacular display of glamour and talent at the Grand Theatre Lumiere. Among the distinguished attendees was Hollywood legend Meryl Streep, who was honored with the prestigious Honorary Palme d’Or.

Accepting the accolade with her characteristic humor, Streep remarked, “I’m just so grateful that you haven’t gotten sick of my face.” Her presence captivated the audience, but it was her attire that added an extra layer of allure to the red carpet event.

Streep wore a lustrous satin Dior wrap dress, complemented by exquisite earrings crafted by Indian designer Hanut Singh. Singh’s jewelry has previously adorned global icons such as Madonna, Rihanna, and Bollywood stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Dimple Kapadia, and Alia Bhatt.
