US strikes Iran as Tehran launches fresh missile attacks on Israel
March 14, 2026: The conflict in the Middle East has entered its 15th day with major military escalation. The United States reportedly carried out a powerful bombing campaign targeting Iranian military installations on Kharg Island. Former US President Donald Trump claimed that the operation by United States Central Command destroyed all military bases on the island and warned Iran to surrender to avoid further destruction.
At the same time, fresh strikes were reportedly carried out by the United States and Israel on Iranian locations. Shiraz International Airport was among the sites said to have been targeted, triggering a large fire and panic in nearby areas. Significant damage was also reported in Isfahan, where several buildings were reduced to rubble following the strikes.
Iran responded with retaliatory missile attacks on Israel. According to reports, a ballistic missile struck a school building in the Israeli city of Rishon LeZion. Tehran also announced the launch of the 46th wave of strikes under Operation True Promise 4, deploying missiles and drones against US and Israeli targets.
