Mobile Internet Services Suspended In Haryana’s Nuh For 24 Hours Ahead Of Brij Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra
July 14, 2025: In a proactive measure to maintain public order and prevent the spread of misinformation, the Haryana government has ordered the suspension of mobile internet and bulk SMS services in Nuh district. This action precedes the Braj Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra scheduled for Monday, July 14, 2025. The suspension will be in effect from 9 p.m. on July 13 until 9 p.m. on July 14 .
The decision comes in the wake of communal violence that occurred during the same yatra two years ago, which resulted in fatalities and injuries. To ensure a peaceful observance this year, authorities have implemented stringent security measures, including the deployment of 2,500 police and paramilitary personnel. Additionally, all schools in the district will remain closed on July 14, and the sale and display of non-vegetarian food items along the yatra route are prohibited.
The Haryana government has emphasized the necessity of suspension of mobile internet to prevent potential disturbances and to facilitate the smooth conduct of the religious procession. Officials have also urged the public to refrain from sharing unverified information and to cooperate with law enforcement agencies during the event.
