Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi has ascended to the No. 1 position among T20I all-rounders, while dynamic Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav has retained his top spot among batters, as per the updated ICC rankings list released on Wednesday.

The 39-year-old climbed to the summit of the rankings after taking two crucial wickets against New Zealand in Guyana.

In a major reshuffle at the top, Nabi jumped two places to secure the No. 1 spot. Australia’s Marcus Stoinis also made significant strides, leaping three places to claim the second position. Previously ranked No. 1, Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan has slipped to fifth place.

In the T20I batter rankings, Suryakumar Yadav retained his position at the top. Afghanistan’s opening batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz achieved his career’s highest ranking, moving up to 12th place. Gurbaz is currently the leading run-getter in the T20 World Cup, with 156 runs from two innings. Pakistan captain Babar Azam moved to the third spot, while England skipper Jos Buttler secured fifth place in the latest rankings. Australia’s Travis Head entered the Top 10, climbing six places to reach the tenth position.

In the bowlers’ T20I rankings, England’s Adil Rashid holds the top spot, with Sri Lanka captain Wanindu Hasaranga in second place. Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan and Fazalhaq Farooqi moved up to third and fourth spots, respectively. South African speedster Anrich Nortje is tied with Farooqi at the fourth spot.
