NCP Passes Resolutions In Extended Working Committee Meet, Says Party Stands Together In Face Of “External Political Attacks”

New Delhi [India]: Ahead of the assembly elections in five states, the Nationalist Congress Party held the Extended Working Committee Meeting at the Constitution Club of India on Thursday.

The Nationalist Congress Party passed 11 resolutions during the extended working committee meeting, which are as follow

One of the resolutions states, “the members of the Extended National Working Committee, stand together in the face of external political attacks aimed at undermining our collective efforts over the years to build a robust party. We recognize that these attacks are driven by vested interests seeking to weaken our party’s escalating progress.”

Another resolution states that the party members “reaffirm that, in accordance with the Constitution and Rules of the Party, a national convention was held on September 10-11, 2022. During the convention, it was announced that Shri Sharad Pawar, proposed by 90 National Delegates, was re-elected unopposed as the President of the NCP.”

The actions of a few elected representatives who have defected from the party and acted against its directives are strongly condemned.

The NCP in another resolution condemns “the politically motivated arrest of public representatives by investigative agencies”.

The party “strongly condemn the audacity of the NDA Government to remove the words socialist secular from the Preamble of the Constitution, as evident from the new copies published and distributed to the Members of Parliament”.

The NCP reaffirms its unwavering faith in the leadership of Sharad Pawar and is preparing for future elections in the country under his guidance and vision.

Five states–Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana, and Mizoram–will go to the polls by the end of this year.
