March 16, 2025: Cricket fans are set for an exciting showdown as New Zealand takes on Pakistan in the 1st T20I of the five-match series at Hagley Oval, Christchurch, on Sunday, March 16.
Pakistan, led by Salman Ali Agha, will aim to bounce back after a disappointing ICC Men’s Champions Trophy campaign, which saw them eliminated in the group stage. Meanwhile, New Zealand, captained by Michael Bracewell, will be without key T20 players Devon Conway, Lockie Ferguson, Glenn Phillips, Rachin Ravindra, and Mitchell Santner, who are all engaged in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
