
Operation Sindoor: All-Party Meet Ends With Consensus, Kiren Rijiju Says 'All Parties Showed Maturity'

A day after India’s armed forces conducted precision missile strikes on terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) under Operation Sindoor, the Centre held an all-party meeting in New Delhi to brief political leaders across the spectrum.
Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju stated post-meeting that “all parties showed maturity” during the briefing, adding that leaders put forth suggestions and emphasized remaining vigilant in the current tense climate.

Operation Sindoor, conducted in the early hours of May 7, was launched in response to the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, which claimed the lives of 26 civilians. India’s strikes targeted nine terror sites linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba.
