New Delhi [India]: Aam Admi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chaddha on Monday said that the coming together of like-minded opposition parties is giving “sleepless nights” to the Bharatiya Janata Party.
He also claimed that the saffron party will not return to power at the Centre in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Speaking to media in Delhi, the AAP leader said, “The alliance of like minded opposition parties is giving sleepless nights to the ruling BJP. The coming together of leaders of non-BJP parties have made them to live in fear”,adding, “The agenda of the meeting will be discussed during the meeting in Bengaluru”.
While thanking the Congress government for taking a stand against the Centre’s Ordinance, AAP MP said that the move by the grand old party “assumes huge significance”.
“The development of yesterday assumes huge significance. The developments made it clear that Prime Minister ji will not return to power. BJP is not going to form the government at the centre,” Chaddha said while referring to Congress’s opposition to the Centre’s Ordinance.
On Sharad Pawar skipping the first day of the joint Opposition meet in Bengaluru, AAP MP said, “He will be attending the meeting tomorrow.
Today Maharashtra’s monsoon session is beginning and he has a meeting with his MLAs. But, what is more important is that more than party leaders, people are coming together…”
