Pakistan saying that India becoming powerful country: Rajnath Singh
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who is also the BJP candidate from Lucknow, underscored recent acknowledgments from Pakistani leaders regarding India’s ascent as a powerful nation. Singh emphasized that Pakistan, traditionally critical of India, now recognizes the country’s significant growth.
Speaking at a public meeting in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow, Rajnath Singh remarked, “By 2027, India will rank third globally in terms of wealth. One of our neighbours, who has never spoken well of our country, today their leaders are saying India is becoming a powerful country, and Pakistan is still backward.”
He further noted the global shift in perception towards India. “The perception of India has changed worldwide. Leaders of all nations are now saying that the 21st century belongs to India,” Singh added.
Expressing confidence in the BJP-led NDA’s success in the ongoing Lok Sabha polls, Singh cited political analysts who predict a strong victory. “Elections are underway in the country, with four phases already completed. Voting for the fifth phase will be held on May 20. After four phases, political analysts are confident that the BJP-led NDA will win more than 400 seats this time,” he said.
