Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) [India]: Emphasizing that technology has made every task easy, Himachal Pradesh Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur on Monday said that we should also learn to use new technologies so that we can easily convey our message to the people.
“Today, technology is being used extensively in making various policies. So that the leakage of any scheme can be minimized and the schemes can be implemented in the most transparent manner. All these things are visible to us today and people across the country are getting their benefits,” Jairam Thakur said while talking with BJP workers in Shimla.
He further said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi also encouraged the people to use new technology.
“PM Modi is always eager to learn new technologies and he keeps learning about new technologies and gadgets and trying to understand how they could be used for the benefit of society,” he said.
The Leader of the Opposition told the BJP workers that hundreds of public welfare schemes have been launched by the Modi government and crores of people are getting the benefits of this.
“People should be informed about all the schemes in an effective manner through social media. So that no eligible person is deprived of those schemes. Apart from this, efforts are being made by the opposition to spread many lies against us. The lies of the opposition should also be exposed by providing correct information to the people through social media,” he added.
