
Putin Aide Rejects Ceasefire Proposal, Calls It a 'Breather' for Ukraine's Military
March 13, 2025: A top Kremlin aide, Yuri Ushakov, has dismissed the US-Ukrainian ceasefire proposal, calling it a temporary advantage for Ukraine’s military rather than a genuine step toward peace.

Speaking after a phone call with US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, Ushakov said Russia seeks a long-term solution that protects its “legitimate interests.” He added that President Vladimir Putin would provide a more detailed response on Thursday.
