May 7, 2025: New Delhi – Just minutes before the launch of Operation Sindoor, the Indian Army posted a powerful video on social media, showcasing troops loading arms, tanks being mobilized, and a defiant voiceover vowing retribution for those killed in the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.

Captioned “Ready to Strike, Trained to Win,” the video ended with the words: “Always ready, always victorious.” The post preceded a series of precision airstrikes on nine terror-linked sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK).

Visual Signal Before the Storm
The video showed scenes of Indian soldiers preparing artillery, missile launchers, and other combat hardware, with a voice in the background declaring:

“The burden of my brothers and sisters’ pain shall find you.”
Within minutes of the post going live, explosions were reported by news agency Reuters in Bahawalpur and Muzaffarabad, both among the nine identified targets.
The Ministry of Defence soon confirmed:
“A little while ago, the Indian armed forces launched Operation Sindoor, hitting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and PoK from where attacks against India have been planned and directed.”
Pakistan Confirms Strikes, Issues Warning
Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) acknowledged strikes in Bahawalpur, Kotli, and Muzaffarabad, stating:

“India has struck three places from air… All strikes were made from Indian airspace. All PAF aircraft are airborne.”
In a sharply worded message, ISPR warned:
“India’s temporary pleasure will be replaced by enduring grief. Pakistan will respond at a time and place of its own choosing.”
India Maintains Its Position
Indian authorities reiterated that the strikes were “measured, focused, and non-escalatory”, and did not target Pakistani military facilities. They emphasized that only known terror infrastructure was hit.
The video has since gone viral, symbolizing India’s resolve to respond to the Pahalgam massacre — where 25 Indians and one Nepali citizen were killed — with strength and surgical precision.
