According to a report in Dainik Jagran, if India fails to win the title, Rohit could announce his retirement from ODI cricket. The report suggests that Hardik Pandya or Shubman Gill could take over as India’s next ODI captain, ushering in a new era for Indian cricket.

Legendary Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar has been vocal about Rohit’s recent batting approach, urging him to focus on longer innings rather than just explosive starts.
