Sanjay Singh Slams BJP Over Criticism of Kejriwal, Labels Party as ‘Bhartiya Jhootha Party’

AAP leader Sanjay Singh hits back at BJP’s allegations, highlights Kejriwal’s contributions to free services and infrastructure in Delhi.

New Delhi, January 1: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh launched a sharp attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday, dismissing their criticisms of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Singh accused the BJP of spreading falsehoods and ridiculed their stance on Kejriwal’s governance, which he claimed has significantly improved the lives of Delhi residents through free services and infrastructural development.

“BJP, a party known for its continuous lies, is questioning Arvind Kejriwal, who provided free electricity, water, education, and medical treatment to the people of Delhi. He also introduced free bus services for women, constructed new roads, and installed three lakh CCTV cameras for public safety,” said Sanjay Singh while speaking to ANI.

He further criticized the BJP for their unfulfilled promises, including the pledge of two crore jobs, doubling farmers’ income, and depositing ₹15 lakh into citizens’ bank accounts by recovering black money. “The people will laugh at these allegations. BJP leaders have become characters in a comedy circus,” Singh remarked.

Reflecting on the party’s struggles over the past two years, Singh emphasized that the BJP’s attempts to weaken AAP had failed due to strong public support. “The years 2023 and 2024 were challenging, but the people’s trust in AAP remained unshaken. I hope 2025 brings prosperity and harmony to everyone,” he added.

BJP Responds with Letter to Kejriwal

The confrontation intensified after Delhi BJP Chief Virendra Sachdeva addressed an open letter to Arvind Kejriwal, urging him to give up his “bad habits of lying and deceit.”

Sachdeva outlined five resolutions he suggested Kejriwal adopt:

1. Apologize for the Delhi liquor policy scandal.
2. Stop making false promises to the public.
3. Fulfill promises made regarding cleaning the Yamuna River.
4. Avoid swearing falsely on his children.
5. Refrain from accepting political donations from questionable sources.

Sachdeva added, “All citizens expect meaningful change and honesty from Kejriwal in the new year.”

Political Tensions Escalate

The exchange of allegations comes amid rising political tensions between AAP and BJP. Recently, Arvind Kejriwal wrote to RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, questioning whether the BJP’s actions are weakening democracy.

The heated war of words indicates an intensifying rivalry between the two parties as they prepare for the upcoming elections in Delhi.
