So Good, Its Scary! Viral Video Blurs Reality and AI, Leaves Internet Shaken-Watch
April 12, 2025: A viral Instagram video has left the internet stunned, showcasing just how difficult it’s becoming to differentiate between reality and AI-generated visuals. Posted by creator @immadsal, the mind-bending clip features everyday objects like benches, purses, and even a statue—some real, others conjured entirely by artificial intelligence.
In the video, a woman asks viewers to guess which of two identical benches is real. Just as the audience locks in their choice, one bench seamlessly vanishes, revealing itself to be AI-generated. The same trick plays out again with two purses—only for one to transform into a potato in real-time, sending shockwaves across social media.

“NO Because this is CRAZY editing skills unmatched I fear,” one viewer wrote.
“The statue at the end is TOO CRAZY,” added another.
The viral moment has sparked both fascination and fear. While many praised the creator’s flawless execution and creative flair, others expressed concern about how AI is eroding visual trust.
“It’s kinda scary what people can do and what people will believe because of AI but still very interesting,” one user commented.
From object transformations to surreal edits, this video proves that AI is not just mimicking reality—it’s mastering it.
