Speculations about a rift between Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have resurfaced after Aishwarya attended Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding in Mumbai with her daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan sans the Bachchan parivaar.
The Bachchan family, on the other hand showed up in full strength at the do. Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek, Shweta, Nikhil Nanda, Navya Naveli and Agastya arrived together, dressed in exquisite Indian ethnic attires. The family happily posed together for the paparazzi.
However, after posing separately for the media, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan were seen sitting together and sharing a laugh with Hrithik Roshan at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding on July 12.
While both Aishwarya and Abhishek have remained tight-lipped about the rumoured rift in the marriage, speculations continue to rise with public moments such as these.
Fans were quick to react and ask questions as soon as the videos came out. One fan commented – “Why is she not posing with pariwaar ..we are waiting for post wedding celebrations now,” while another one said – “Why Aishwarya is always alone with her Daughter & rest family members are together? Even Abhishek doesn’t bother to stay with his wife and comes with his family… whatever the family issues might be but they should call Aishwarya and Aaradhya to be with them.”
Amitabh Bachchan later shared his experience of the marriage in his blog on Tumblr, “Yes, the desire and the will to connect even at this unearthly hour—to some, it is time for work…but for me, I need to utilise the time for the Ef connect. Back from a glorious wedding, I feel after a long time the wealth of love and affection with so many old acquaintances (sic,” he said.
“They seemed to have changed in their physiognomy, but extremely sincere in their affection towards the association and the love of our times well spent together. This is what life is all about .. the associations and love and care (sic),” Amitabh added.
Towards the end, Big B wrote, “It is strange how the little things that matter to each other, remain, but those that had a deeper association or a meaningful spent time, is lost and forgotten .. well not really forgotten , but kept on the back burner, and remembered or brought out only when there is required meaning of the association (sic).”
