- Dhananjaya de Silva, Sri Lanka’s captain, scored 69 runs in the first innings, elevating him three spots to 13th place on the Test batting rankings, making him the highest-ranked Sri Lankan batter.
- Kamindu Mendis climbed six places to 19th after his half-century.
- Pathum Nissanka made a dramatic leap of 42 spots to 39th following his match-winning innings of 64 and an unbeaten 127*.
On the bowling side:
- Vishwa Fernando gained 13 places to 31st after taking five wickets.
- Lahiru Kumara rose by 10 spots to 32nd
- Milan Rathnayake jumped 26 places to 84th.
