Taapsee Pannu Slams Rumours of Moving Abroad, Confirms She’s Home in Mumbai Enjoying Dosa
24 october, 2025: Actor Taapsee Pannu has strongly refuted a sensational report claiming she had “left India” to permanently settle abroad with her husband, badminton player Mathias Boe.
Taking to her Instagram Stories to address the claim, the actor questioned the veracity and urgency of the publication’s headline: “Can there be a less false and less sensational headline!!!??? Ya phir headline galat ho ya sahi aap tak ayegi ‘sabse tez’ portal. Maybe slow down and do a little bit of research…???”
The actor then put all rumours to rest by confirming her current location: Mumbai. She humorously clarified, “PS-wondering WTF is this while munching my dosa in this humid, hot Mumbai morning.”
Pannu and Boe married last year. In a recent interview, she had spoken about their home in Denmark, noting the unusual (for Danish culture) arrangement where Boe’s parents live with them—a tradition she brought from India. She also mentioned that their travel schedule is designed to spend time in Denmark during the peak summer and return to India for the winter shooting season.
On the work front, Taapsee is set to star in the revenge drama Gandhari, directed by Devashish Makhija, which is slated to premiere on Netflix. She was last seen in the film Khel Khel Mein.
