Terrifying Video Captures Plane Skidding Off Runway and Crashing at South Korea Airport

Survivor Stories: Two Rescued Amid Ongoing Rescue Operations

December 29, 2024: A chilling video has emerged capturing the horrifying moment a Boeing 737-800 aircraft operated by Jeju Air skidded off the runway and crashed into a wall at Muan International Airport, South Korea on Sunday morning.

The crash, which claimed at least 28 lives, occurred during what appears to have been a belly landing attempt, with the landing gear malfunctioning, reportedly caused by bird strikes.

Acting President Choi Sang-Mok issued an urgent directive, stating:
“All related agencies must mobilize all available resources to save the personnel.”

An emergency meeting was also convened by the President’s Chief of Staff to coordinate rescue and investigation efforts.

Preliminary Investigation:

Early findings suggest the crash was triggered by bird strikes, which likely caused landing gear failure during the attempted landing.

Global Impact:

This incident follows another tragic plane crash earlier in the week involving an Azerbaijan Airlines flight in Kazakhstan, highlighting growing concerns around aviation safety.

As the investigation continues and rescue operations proceed, the world watches closely, mourning the tragic loss and hoping for the safe recovery of any remaining survivors.
