“To Be Arrested Tomorrow”: Elon Musk Alleges Massive Social Security Breach Linked to Voter Fraud

Musk claims 4 lakh Social Security numbers were stolen, tying the breach to illegal immigration, voter fraud, and misuse of federal benefits. No official arrest confirmation yet.

April 1, 2025: Washington D.C. | April 1, 2025 — Elon Musk has stirred major controversy with claims of a massive breach in the U.S. Social Security system, stating that 400,000 personal records were stolen, potentially enabling illegal immigrants to vote and access federal benefits.

In a voice note shared on X (formerly Twitter) via DogeDesigner, Musk stated:

Musk alleged that the breach is being used to facilitate voter fraud:

“If you compromise the security system, you can basically get people to vote even if they’re not citizens.”

He further accused the Democratic Party of easing access to benefits like Social Security, Medicare, and IRS refunds for undocumented immigrants:

“They’ve taken every part of the government that could possibly be bent towards providing financial incentives for illegal immigrants.”

Musk also made a controversial claim about FEMA funds, stating:

“Funds meant for disaster relief were diverted to pay for luxury hotels in New York for illegal immigrants.”

No Official Confirmation Yet

There has been no official statement from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) or law enforcement agencies regarding any imminent arrest or Musk’s claims.

This isn’t the first time Musk has criticized the system. In a past interview with Joe Rogan, Musk had called Social Security “the biggest Ponzi scheme of all time.”

Former Officials React

Michael Astrue, ex-Social Security Commissioner, criticized the current administration’s lack of understanding:

“We’re doing it the way 22-year-old frat boys think is a good idea. That’s a mistake.”

He added that DOGE workers lack expertise in COBOL, the decades-old but vital programming language powering much of the Social Security system.
