🚀 A Historic Mission Under Trump’s Leadership

During a press briefing on Wednesday, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt emphasized Trump’s commitment to ensuring that no American is ever left behind.

📢 “This historic mission brings new meaning to President Trump’s promise to always look out for the forgotten man and woman,” she declared.

Leavitt called the astronauts’ return the “very best of America”, celebrating their resilience after spending nearly 300 days aboard the International Space Station—a mission that was originally planned for just eight days.

🚨 ‘Biden Administration’s Failure Delayed Rescue’

🔥 Leavitt blamed the Biden administration for the delay, accusing them of failing to act with urgency.

💬 “Because of the Biden administration’s lack of urgency, they ended up spending nine months in space. Joe Biden’s lack of courage to act boldly and decisively was a big reason why Butch and Sunita did not make it back until yesterday,” she said.

💥 “But President Trump doesn’t waste time.”

According to Leavitt, Trump immediately took charge upon taking office, directing Elon Musk and SpaceX to prioritize the astronauts’ return in coordination with NASA.

📞 “The President personally called the NASA chief and Elon Musk, ensuring that the mission was accelerated. Thanks to his leadership, the return schedule was pulled ahead by a month,” she added.

🏛️ Trump to Welcome Astronauts at White House

Leavitt confirmed that Trump will personally welcome NASA Crew-9 to the Oval Office once they are medically cleared.

💬 “The President looks forward to welcoming Butch and Sunita to the Oval Office when they are recovered,” she announced.

Earlier in the day, NASA Crew-9 successfully splashed down in the Gulf of Mexico, marking the end of their prolonged space mission.
