
Varun Chakaravarthy Joins India's ODI Squad for England Series
New Delhi, February 4: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday announced that Varun Chakaravarthy has been added to India’s squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against England.
The mystery spinner was in sensational form during the recently concluded T20I series, picking up 14 wickets, including a five-wicket haul in Rajkot. His outstanding performance earned him the ‘Player of the Series’ award as India clinched the series 4-1.
According to a BCCI statement, Varun has joined the ODI squad in Nagpur, where India will kick off the series against England on February 8.
The three-match ODI series will serve as a crucial preparation for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy, which is set to begin on February 19 in Pakistan and the UAE.
The Men in Blue will take on England in:

✅ 2nd ODI – February 11, Cuttack
✅ 3rd ODI – February 14, Ahmedabad
India’s squad remains largely unchanged from its Champions Trophy lineup, with the only modification being Harshit Rana replacing Jasprit Bumrah.
