July 06, 2025: Several Reliance Jio users across India experienced a major network disruption on Sunday evening, with thousands taking to social media to report issues such as complete loss of mobile signal, inability to make calls, and mobile data outages. The sudden network failure left many subscribers frustrated, especially those relying on Jio for work, education, or staying connected with family.

Users in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Kolkata were among the first to report the outage, with complaints quickly trending on platforms like X (formerly Twitter) under phrases like “Jio Down” and “Jio Network Issue.” Many customers expressed concerns about the lack of updates or explanations from the telecom giant, which added to the uncertainty.

Several subscribers shared screenshots showing “No Service” or “Emergency Calls Only” on their mobile devices. Others noted that while the signal bars appeared, calls and internet services were either extremely slow or not working at all.

As of late Sunday night, Reliance Jio had yet to release an official statement addressing the cause of the network disruption or providing a timeline for restoration of services. Some users claimed they were able to briefly reconnect after restarting their devices, but many continued to face intermittent connectivity issues.

This outage comes at a time when millions depend on stable internet and call services for remote work and online classes. The disruption highlighted concerns about the reliability of even India’s largest telecom network and left customers demanding better communication and faster resolutions during such technical breakdowns.

Subscribers are advised to keep checking official channels for updates from Jio regarding the status of the network and any compensation plans for the affected users.
