"WW3 Has Begun": Alexander Dugin Warns Russia Is "Next" If Iran Collapses
In a series of provocative statements shared via Russian state-backed media and social platforms, Alexander Dugin has called for an immediate shift in Russia’s domestic and military posture. His remarks come as the Middle East descends into “open war” and the Kremlin officially condemns the US-Israeli strikes as a “dangerous adventure.”
Dugin’s rhetoric has reached a fever pitch following the Saturday strikes that decapitated Iran’s leadership.
Dugin’s primary concern is that the systematic destruction of Iran’s military infrastructure is a precursor to a direct assault on Russia.
Dugin suggested that without “real patriotic reforms” within the Russian state, the situation would become “unpredictable.”
| Concept | Dugin’s Position |
| Status of Conflict | World War 3 is officially underway. |
| Role of Iran | The IRGC is the primary line of defense for the “multipolar world.” |
| Fate of Russia | Russia is the ultimate target of Operation Epic Fury’s “success.” |
| Domestic Policy | Russia must abandon the “illusion of peace” and reform immediately. |
While Dugin’s views are influential, they often represent the most extreme “hawk” faction in Moscow. The official Russian Foreign Ministry, led by Sergei Lavrov, has used more measured—though still highly critical—language, labeling the strikes a “radiological catastrophe” risk and urging Russian citizens to evacuate the region immediately.
