July 12, 2025: WWE Smackdown Results – Whether socially awkward Twitter addicts like it or not, WWE continues its rich legacy of celebrity wrestling, and Jelly Roll’s live performance was advertised on WWE SmackDown. Logan Paul interrupted Jelly Roll and criticized him for being an outsider, which led to one of the year’s best wrestling moments. From there, Paul, Randy Orton, Drew McIntyre, and Jelly Roll all contributed to the beginning of the conflict between Logan Paul and Jelly Roll. At SummerSlam, this might end up being a tag match.

Additionally, Aleister Black vs. R-Truth, Alexa Bliss, Sol Ruca, Roxanne Perez, and Kairi Sane in a Fatal 4-Way, and Wyatt Sicks vs. the Street Profits for the WWE Tag Team Championships were promoted on SmackDown.
SmackDown’s July 4, 2025, telecast drew 1.166 million viewers last week.

LA Knight Brawls With MFT
LA Knight opened the show cutting a promo on Seth Rollins, only to be cut off by Paul Heyman. Heyman made fun of the Tennessee crowd for being off-beat while singing along to the “Paul Heyman” intro.
Solo Sikoa and MFT interrupted Heyman, and Solo demanded that Paul get out of his sight. Heyman obliged, partly because the PTSD from being destroyed by the Bloodline.
MFT brawled with LA Knight, but Jimmy Uso evened the odds, setting up a tag team match for later on in the night. Conspicuous by his absence was Tama Tonga.
Grade for the SmackDown Opening Segment: B
Alexa Bliss Def. Roxanne Perez, Sol Ruca, and Kairi Sane
For this go-home Fatal 4-Way, Alexa Bliss persuaded Charlotte Flair to corner her backstage. Alexa explained that they are companions of convenience rather than friends. Flair was wearing an all-white cowgirl attire, and Bliss was wearing an all-black punk outfit, so it was obvious they weren’t buddies.
Raquel Rodriguez put Roxanne Perez’s foot on the rope after Sol Ruca delivered an amazing Sol Snatcher.
I think Alexa Bliss and Charlotte have a lower chance of winning this Sunday because Bliss won the match against Kairi Sane with a Sister Abigail.
Jelly Roll Performs Live And Logan Paul Interrupts
Jelly Roll received a warm reception in his home city. His performance was going just fine until Logan Paul interrupted. Massive heat.
Paul called himself a “Real WWE superstar!” Paul made fun of Jelly Roll for making music “for people who have tattoos of his children, but not having custody of them.” Paul, leaning all the way into the hypocrisy, said he was tired of celebrities and influences “Coming into our industry, leaching off of our success!”
Randy Orton cut an awesome promo on Logan Paul for daring to call Jelly Roll an outsider. Paul was cut off mid-promo by a Claymore Kick. As security escorted McIntyre out of the building, Logan Paul pummeled Orton. Jelly Roll, who has better babyface facial expressions than anybody in wrestling not named Cody Rhodes, ripped Paul off Orton to an enormous pop.
Paul fled the ring and tore Jelly Roll’s set apart. This match already has more heat than anything on AEW All In Texas tomorrow. Jelly Roll will be in Randy Orton’s corner tomorrow at Saturday Night’s Main event whet Orton faces Drew McIntyre.
R-Truth Def. Aleister Black
R-Truth, who continues to be popular, came out swinging, but was cutoff by Black a couple times as Wade Barrett talked up Black’s Muay Thai abilities.
Truth grabbed a steel chair, but was thwarted by a knee from Black.
Black teased using the chair, but the referee grabbed the chair from him. R-Truth rolled up Black for the upset win. This was Black’s first pinfall loss since returning to the company.
Backstage, Damian Priest talked Black off a cliff. After calming down, Black walked off, only to return with a knee to Priest’s jaw. After losing to R-Truth clean, in the middle, Black had no choice but to turn heel.
