The eagerly awaited trailer for the fourth season of ‘The Boys’ has just been released, featuring stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, and Erin Moriarty.
In the new trailer, Karl Urban returns as the hardened and determined Billy Butcher, battling personal demons and driven by a renewed commitment to set things right, even at the cost of his own life. This season, the threat escalates with a deadly virus targeting superheroes and political unrest at a tipping point.
Antony Starr’s sinister Homelander is amassing more power, causing worldwide instability, while Erin Moriarty’s Starlight finds herself perilously caught in the midst. Amidst the turmoil, Butcher becomes a beacon of hope, rallying his team to combat the pervasive corruption and fight for a future worth saving.
The season’s synopsis reveals a dire situation: Victoria Neuman is inches away from the presidency, under Homelander’s oppressive influence. Butcher is dealing with the loss of Becca’s son and his deteriorating health, while discord brews among The Boys due to his past deceptions. Now more than ever, the team must overcome their internal conflicts to avert global catastrophe.
Joining the ensemble cast this season are Susan Heyward, Valorie Curry, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. ‘The Boys’, based on the New York Times best-selling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson—who also executive produce—is developed by showrunner Eric Kripke. The series boasts a team of executive producers including Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.
Produced by Sony Pictures Television, Amazon MGM Studios, Kripke Enterprises, Original Film, and Point Grey Pictures, ‘The Boys’ Season 4 is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on June 13.
