April 15, 2025: Kochi’s modern marvel — the Water Metro — is grabbing international eyeballs. A Scottish vlogger, known as @hugh.abroad on Instagram, recently took a ride on this eco-friendly water transit system and gave it a glowing review that’s now gone viral with over 5.9 million views.

Boarding the Fort Kochi to High Court route for just ₹40, the traveller documented every step of his journey. From purchasing a pass to boarding the sleek vessel, the experience impressed him — and the internet.
