“I Removed All My Plasma, Replaced it With…”: Anti-Ageing Guru Bryan Johnson’s Bizarre New Experiment

Tech millionaire Bryan Johnson now replaces his blood plasma with albumin in his quest to reverse ageing, following previous transfusions from his son

May 18, 2025: US-based tech entrepreneur and anti-ageing advocate Bryan Johnson has once again stunned the internet. Known for his rigorous and costly pursuit of biological immortality, Johnson has now claimed that he removed all plasma from his body and replaced it with albumin, a key blood protein.

In a recent Instagram post, the 46-year-old shared, “I removed all the plasma from my body, and the doctor said it’s the cleanest she’s ever seen.” This, he explained, was part of the second phase of his longevity experiment—following a much-discussed plasma transfusion from his teenage son last year.

Johnson said the albumin infusion was designed to help his body cope with modern-day toxins and metabolic waste. “Sometimes the body can’t handle the load of our modern world… so, I replaced it all,” he noted. Surprisingly, he described the aftermath as uneventful: “I felt the same. Slept the same.”

The procedure is part of his broader “Blueprint” project, which involves constant biomarker tracking, advanced diagnostics, and a reported $2 million annual spend on reversing biological ageing.

🧪 The Science and the Skepticism

Medical experts have previously warned against unproven anti-ageing treatments like young plasma infusions, citing risks and lack of peer-reviewed evidence. Johnson, however, remains undeterred, believing his body can serve as a real-time test subject.

Another wrote, “Just eat some KFC and live a little — you’re missing life trying to extend it.”
