January 7, 2025: A viral image claiming to show Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, and Aryan Khan offering prayers at Mecca has been circulating widely on social media since New Year’s Day. The picture depicts Shah Rukh in a white kurta, Gauri in a grey hijab, and Aryan standing behind them in traditional attire, with the holy Mecca backdrop clearly visible.
However, a report has clarified that the image is fake and AI-generated, created using Deepfake technology or similar Artificial Intelligence tools. Despite many believing its authenticity, several experts and eagle-eyed netizens have pointed out inconsistencies, indicating it is a digitally manipulated image.

Gauri Khan on Faith and Mutual Respect:
Gauri Khan, in a previous appearance on Koffee with Karan Season 2, addressed the topic of religion in her family. She emphasized mutual respect, stating:
“I respect Shah Rukh’s religion, but that doesn’t mean I would convert and become a Muslim. Everyone is an individual and follows their religion. Shah Rukh would never disrespect my religion, and I wouldn’t disrespect his.”
