The retired India opener has invested in a 6,040 sq ft super-luxury home in DLF’s premium development on Golf Course Road, Gurugram.
Gurugram, May 20, 2025 – Former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan has purchased a ₹69 crore apartment in one of Gurugram’s most exclusive real estate projects, DLF’s ‘The Dahlias’, located on Golf Course Road, according to a report by real estate analytics firm CRE Matrix.

The purchase agreement, dated February 4, 2025, details Dhawan’s acquisition of a 6,040 square feet unit in the ultra-luxury residential development launched by DLF. The base cost of the property is listed at ₹65.61 crore, with an additional ₹3.28 crore paid in stamp duty, bringing the total investment to ₹68.89 crore.
Dhawan, who retired from all forms of cricket in October 2024, is one of the first high-profile buyers publicly linked with ‘The Dahlias’, which is DLF’s second marquee luxury offering after the highly successful ‘The Camellias’, also in DLF Phase 5.

About the Project:
Launched in August 2024, ‘The Dahlias’ spans 17 acres and features 420 ultra-luxury apartments and penthouses. It is projected to generate ₹35,000 crore in total revenue for DLF, signaling massive demand for premium housing among India’s elite.
Shikhar Dhawan’s Legacy:
Dhawan debuted for India in 2010 against Australia and went on to become one of India’s most stylish left-handed openers. His final appearance for India came in 2022, in an ODI match against Bangladesh. Post-retirement, Dhawan has remained in the limelight through media appearances and his relationship with Sophie Shine, whom he’s been seen with frequently in recent months.
With this purchase, Dhawan joins the ranks of celebrities and business leaders investing in Gurugram’s growing luxury real estate sector, signaling continued confidence in the market’s high-end segment.
