Taylor Swift to Perform at Gautam Adani's Son's Wedding: Report

A report from News18 suggests that Swift’s team is in discussions with the Adani family for a private performance at Jeet Adani’s wedding to Diva Shah later this year. Although the singer hasn’t officially confirmed her presence, the report indicates that the talks are progressing positively. If finalized, the wedding will mark Swift’s first performance in India, a long-awaited moment for her fans.
This isn’t the first time Swift has been approached for an exclusive performance. In 2023, she reportedly declined a $9 million offer to perform in the UAE alongside rapper French Montana. Despite this, Swift’s potential India gig has reignited conversations about her highly selective performances.
In 2014, Swift expressed a keen interest in India and its vibrant film industry. During an interaction with Hindustan Times, she mentioned her admiration for Indian cinema, particularly its musical and dance elements. “Indian cinema has a lot of music and dance, which excites me. It’s a great way of connecting with the audience,” she had said.
