Reacting to the tribute, Bumrah expressed his delight on Instagram, writing, "This made me smile! Incredible vibe at the Coldplay concert in Mumbai (from what I've seen here) and even more special to be mentioned."

During their opening concert at DY Patil Stadium, Chris Martin humorously claimed Bumrah was backstage and had requested a 15-minute break to bowl to him. The following day, Martin clarified the joke and highlighted Bumrah's achievements, calling him "No. 1 in the world."

The tribute included a replay of Bumrah’s toe-crushing yorker to Ollie Pope during the 2024 Test series against England, eliciting cheers from the crowd.
Coldplay is performing five concerts in India, with three shows in Mumbai and two at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The band’s Indian tour is part of their globally celebrated 'Music of the Spheres' World Tour.
On the cricketing front, Jasprit Bumrah is focusing on regaining fitness ahead of the Champions Trophy 2025. After suffering a back injury during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series against Australia, where he claimed an astounding 32 wickets, Bumrah has been advised five weeks of rest. His participation in the tournament, starting February 19, will depend on his recovery in the coming weeks.
