October 18, 2024: Renowned filmmaker Vikram Bhatt, known for directing films like Raaz, 1920: Evil Returns, and Khamoshiyan, recently shared some behind-the-scenes (BTS) moments from the sets of his upcoming film Tu Meri Puri Kahani on social media.
In his post, Vikram expressed heartfelt gratitude to his mentor and father, Mahesh Bhatt, for his unwavering support and for inspiring the entire idea behind the film.
Taking to Instagram, Vikram Bhatt posted a video featuring Mahesh Bhatt and accompanied it with a heartfelt caption. He credited Mahesh Bhatt for his creative input, humorously referencing a dialogue from the movie Deewar, stating, “Mere pass Bhattsaab hai!” He also touched on the fact that Mahesh Bhatt, despite being the original creator of the iconic film Aashiqui, did not engage in disputes over the title. Vikram highlighted how having Mahesh Bhatt’s creative genius was more valuable than any film title, and it was Mahesh Bhatt who came up with the story idea for Tu Meri Puri Kahani, assigning Suhrita Das as the film’s director.
In his post, Vikram mentioned how this new project will be a love story featuring a “new boy – new girl” combination with great music, reinforcing the idea that it will have a fresh, youthful vibe. The film marks another collaboration between the Bhatts, with music composed by Anu Malik and the film produced by Ajay Murdia, Nitiz Murdia, and Kshitiz Murdia.
Ajay Murdia had earlier shared an update on the film, announcing the cast, which includes Arhaan Patel and Hiranya Ojha in lead roles. Tu Meri Puri Kahani is set to be a blend of romance and music, created by Mahesh Bhatt and Vikram Bhatt and directed by Suhrita Das. Fans are eagerly awaiting this collaboration, especially with the Bhatts’ track record of creating iconic love stories and musical hits.
