Defence Minister Rajnath Singh assured that all possible measure to bring back Indian citizens were being explored. He also hoped that peace would prevail.
With a very volatile situation in Ukraine, the MEA is taking a number of steps to facilitate 20,000 Indian citizens in Ukraine and their families. The Indian government has expanded the Control Room set up at MEA to function 24X7.
The MEA also said that in view of closure of Ukrainian air space, schedule of special flights stands cancelled. Alternative arrangements are being made for evacuation of Indian nationals.
