His remarkable efforts across three Test matches earned him the prestigious award, surpassing competition from Australia's Pat Cummins and South Africa's Dane Paterson.
Over the course of the series, Bumrah claimed an outstanding 22 wickets at an average of 14.22, single-handedly leading India's bowling charge. His exceptional performances were pivotal in keeping India competitive in a challenging tour.
