Jos Buttler on England’s 75-run victory vs WI,”Fantastic win, great character,”

Jos Buttler, the captain of England, praised his team, saying they played with character to win the fourth Twenty20 International match against the West Indies on Wednesday in Trinidad. In the fourth Twenty20 International match, England defeated the Caribbeans by 75 runs to tie the series at one. During the post-match press conference, Buttler expressed how confident the team is in each other and commended his team for rallying from a two-nil deficit to win the series. In closing, he mentioned that England and the West Indies both performed well in the match.
“Excellent victory. displayed a lot of personality. proud of the team. We lost two to one, but the changing room appears to be confident. has been a pleasure working with Salt. He is performing amazingly well. Trying to see things from a captain’s point of view, I handed my gloves to the salt. Both sides have performed incredibly well,” Buttler remarked. Recalling the game, the West Indies chose to field first at Brian Lara Stadium after winning the toss. Rovman Powell’s choice, though, did not help them because the Caribbean bowling attack played a disorganised game.
For the visitors, Salt (119 runs from 57 balls) opened with a scorching knock that included seven fours and ten sixes. England was reduced to 267/3 thanks to a pivotal partnership between captain Jos Buttler (55 runs from 29 balls) and Salt. The only people taking wickets were Andre Russell, Jason Holder, and Akeal Hosein. England’s bowling attack triumphed in the 268-run chase, stopping the Caribbeans at 192 runs. The only two standout batters in the second inning were Andre Russell (51 runs from 25 balls) and Sherfane Rutherford (36 runs from 15 balls). The Caribbeans struggled to pursue the target because they were unable to form a strong alliance.
However, in the fourth Twenty20 International match, the English bowling attack was the key to their 75-run victory. Topley dominated the second inning while taking three wickets in his 3.3 overs and conceding 37 runs.
