In the latest IPL 2024 showdown, Lucknow Super Giants led by skipper KL Rahul won the coin toss and decided to set the pace by batting against Delhi Capitals at the Ekana Cricket Stadium.
Delhi Capitals, aiming to climb from the bottom of the table, faced off against LSG, who were determined to match Rajasthan Royals at the top. LSG aimed for a decisive victory to surpass RR in terms of run rate.
Speaking after the toss, LSG captain KL Rahul expressed confidence in their decision to bat first. He highlighted the favorable conditions, emphasizing the team’s readiness to make the most of the pitch. Arshad Khan joined the playing XI in place of Mayank Yadav.
DC skipper Rishabh Pant, while also preferring to bat first, acknowledged the challenge of adjusting the lineup due to injuries. Nevertheless, he welcomed the return of Mukesh and Kuldeep, both making a comeback from injury.
