Roundglass Punjab, HAR Hockey Academy register wins: Hockey India Academy Championship 2023

Roundglass Punjab Hockey Club Academy won their game in the Sub-Junior Category on day six of the 1st Hockey India Sub Junior Men Academy Championship 2023, taking first place in Pool B and securing a spot in the Semi-Finals. Three straight victories for Roundglass Punjab Hockey Club Academy: RP Hockey Club Academy defeated Ghumanhera Riser’s Academy 10-1 in the Sub Junior Category. Yuvraj Singh (6′) of Ghumanhera Riser’s Academy opened the score, but that was their only moment of glory as RP Hockey Club Academy scored ten goals in the next few minutes.

RHA went on to win Pool B and advance to the Semis thanks to goals from Amandeep (14′, 47′, 49′), Sunny (36′, 60′), Charanjeet Singh (8′), Gurjot Singh (11′), Samuel (16′), Rajbhar Sajan (27′), and Varinder Singh (51′). Ghumanhera Risinger’s Academy placed second in their pool, so they advanced to the semifinals even with the defeat. The following players will compete in the Sub Junior Category Semi-Finals on December 9: HAR Hockey Academy vs. Ghumanhera Riser’s Academy in the first semifinal. Raja Karan Hockey Academy vs. Roundglass Punjab Hockey Club Academy in the second semifinal.
